We are Gerrard and Schonshary Laidler, husband and wife, authors, and faith-centered voices committed to living with purpose, integrity, wisdom, and conviction.
Our platform was built from real-life experiences, spiritual growth, perseverance, forgiveness, and healing. Through writing, teaching, and transparent conversation, we desire to create content that helps others confront pain with truth, embrace restoration with grace, and keep Christ at the center of their journey.
Gerrard’s work is centered on leadership, accountability, discipline, masculinity, and spiritual alignment, challenging men to lead with character, humility, and intentionality within every area of life.
Schonshary’s passion is encouraging women to heal from betrayal, disappointment, and emotional brokenness while embracing wisdom, grace, resilience, confidence, and spiritual wholeness.

A Heart Made Whole represents healing, restoration, forgiveness, and the renewing power of God’s grace. It is a reminder that even after disappointment, betrayal, grief, or brokenness, God is still able to restore peace, strengthen the weary, and make the heart whole again.
This platform was created to encourage transparency, faith, resilience, and spiritual growth while reminding others that healing is possible and restoration still exists through Christ.
Our Marriage: A Testimony of Grace
Gerrard and Schonshary Laidler are a husband-and-wife duo devoted to faith, family, purpose, and Kingdom-centered living. Bound together through covenant and conviction, they have committed their lives to serving others through wisdom, transparency, authorship, and biblical encouragement.
Their journey has not been absent of adversity. Through seasons of pressure, refinement, rebuilding, and spiritual growth, they have witnessed the sustaining hand of God firsthand. Those experiences have shaped their passion for helping others navigate life with wisdom, discernment, resilience, and unwavering faith.
Through their books, teachings, and personal testimony, the Laidlers seek to inspire transformation, strengthen relationships, cultivate spiritual maturity, and encourage others to pursue the life God has called them to live with courage, integrity, and purpose.
